Receiveed his Magestys Orders from the Honorable Commedant Capt Favrot We having bin Informed by the French Inhabetance that there Was a Report of Looseing Our Commedant Which has Accationed a Great Deal of uneasiness to Us, having bin Governed by him with a Great Deal of Justice and Ese to our Satisfation and as it would be Very Dissagreable to us to be Saprated from him at this Juncture of time he Beaying fully Acquainted With the Cuntry and People there of And All there Distressed Situation, We having Receiveed so much Jusstice And Satisfaction under his Command Which Induices us to humbly pray yr Excellency to Cuntinue his Command Which If not we Shall Allways Regrate his Loss But hoping yr Excellency will Take yr Humble Petionners Case in to Cunsiderration and Grant us his Cuntinueance here with yr protection And we yr humble Petionners Are in Duty Bound to Ever pray---And We Petionners Remains yr Excellencys Moste humble Subjects
